Use Vafeo LiveDvd
How to work with vafeo LiveDvd
- Download a Vafeo LiveDVD distribution (.iso format)
- You work with a x86-compatible virtual tool (KVM, VMWARE, VirtualBox, Parallel, Qemu, ...) :
- Create a virtual machine and assign the .iso file to the DVD drive,
- Boot the virtual machine
- You do not use virtual tool :
- Burn a DVD with vafeo image
- Boot your hardware with this DVD
- During vafeo boot, an IP address will be assigned to the machine if you have a DHCP server on your LAN
- For a server distribution (vs_...) :
- Connect to vafeo server from a browser with URL : http://ip_address/
- Depending on each open source application, it would be possibly necessary to complete its configuration.
- For a desktop distribution (vd_...):
- Use the XFCE4 menu
